We are true ambassadors for Jesus Christ. We have to show that Jesus Christ is why we are here. We don’t claim to be contemporary or traditional; we just want to serve the Lord and Praise Him in all we do. We praise Him when we sing old hymns and we praise Him when we sing new songs. We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God and all Scripture is God’s Word. So we leave you with this: To all who mourn and need comfort, to all who are weary and need rest, to all who are friendless and wish friendship, to all who are lonely and wish companionship, to all who are homeless and want sheltering love, to all who pray and to all who do not, but ought, to all who sin and need a Savior, this church opens wide its doors and in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ says Welcome.
"…worship the Father in spirit and in truth…"
We commit ourselves to glorifying God by Worship, which is in the adoration of God; Worship is duly required of all His children through praise, prayer, the reading and preaching of His Word, and should inspire witness leading to discipleship. Every Christian may worship God privately; however, this should never replace the corporate worship of the church.
2 Peter 3:18
"But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ"
We commit ourselves to glorifying God by moving toward maturity through learning, fellowshipping, and doing the work of ministry.
"As we have opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith."
We commit ourselves to glorifying God by making Christ known to the world, by caring for those of the flock of God, and by demonstrating the love of God to all peoples.
"…freely ye have received, freely give."
We commit ourselves to glorifying God by sharing what we know, what we have, and what we are with all peoples.
"For the perfecting (equipping) of the saints for the work of ministry…"
We commit ourselves to glorifying God by equipping all believers for the work of ministry. The church, through its leadership, is to see that the people of God are educated, guided, and cared for that they might become spiritually mature as they do the work of ministry.
